Lavender Falls Farm: Distilling Lavender in Springfield

Lavender Falls Farm opened its doors in 2015. Now, the family-operated farm takes reservations for people looking to relax among the purple plants and breathe in the calming scent of lavender. Costumers can dine on lavender infused treats, such as lavender hummus and lavender lemonade, inside a restored chicken coop that makes up the dining area. Costumers can also venture outside, where they can sit and enjoy the view. The lavender blooms in late May and lasts until early July each year, so reservations begin in April. The farm also has a small waterfall; hence the name Lavender Falls Farm.

Why do we like Lavender Falls Farm?

Lavender Falls Farms uses organic farming practices and distills its lavender right on the farm. (Just ask the owner, he’ll show you!) Lavender Fall Farms includes its steam distilled lavender oil in all of its products. They sell pure lavender oil along with lavender sugar scrub, candles, lip balm, lotion and more.

Hours:

Open from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. on Thursdays through Saturdays for dinner reservations
During the months of May and June
Special events and classes may take place a other times.
